ICAPA – International Commission on Accreditation of Public Administration Education and Training Programs

The first International Commission on Accreditation of Public Administration Education and Training Programs has been appointed in August 2012.

Chaired by Allan Rosenbaum, Past President of IASIA, the Commission will be responsible for developing and initiating a process for the accreditation of public administration education and training programs in keeping with a recent decision of the IASIA Board of Management to establish such an effort. The accreditation process which IASIA will initiate will be based upon and build upon the final report of the joint United Nations/IASIA report on Standards of Excellence for Public Administration Education and Training.

  • First ICAPA Accreditation

    In September 2014, IASIA has successfully completed its first accreditations. Two programs of two different schools of the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV), namely the Professional Master’s in Public Administration of the Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (EBAPE) in Rio de Janeiro and the professional Master’s in Public Administration program of The Business Administration School of São Paulo (EAESP) have been granted full six year accreditation.”
